General Service

  • We promise to deliver 1 risk based visit within the annual period
  • The visit will cover all points DVSA consider during any maintenance assessment
  • We promise to discuss the findings of a visit with a responsible person
  • We promise to provide a summary report on the day
  • We promise to give you quality advice on any DVSA maintenance matter
  • We promise to answer calls or ring back with 24 hours
  • We promise to answer emails within 24 hours

Service when replying to VOSA Prohibitions

  • We promise to discuss your prohibitions with you prior to drafting responses
  • We promise to properly represent your views at all times
  • We promise to give you advice based on our experience at all times
  • We promise to give you opportunity to proof read any letters prior to submitting them to DVSA
  • We promise to draft and submit any assurances required by DVSA within the required timescales after giving you a chance to proof read them

NOTE - IF YOU WISH TO QUESTION A PROHIBITION YOU MUST NOT ATTEMPT ANY REPAIR PRIOR TO YOUR REQUEST FOR A REVIEW.

Service during Public Inquiry (PI) Representation

  • We promise to negotiate a price with you prior to engagement with MVC Scotland Ltd (MVC), this price will not be increased regardless of whether the case has to be re-convened.  The agreed price must be paid at least one week in advance of the PI.
  • Representations at the PI will be based on a comprehensive MVC risk based maintenance assessment which will be included in the negotiated price
  • A meeting will be arranged following the maintenance assessment and before the PI to agree the best approach for your business, taking in to account any weaknesses in your systems and improvements needed

NOTE - MVC SCOTLAND LIMITED WILL NOT REPRESENT ANY OPERATOR WHO RECKLESSLY DISREGARDS VOSA OR TRAFFIC COMMISSIONER GUIDANCE
